Earth's Ecosystem 6,000 Years ago

UV light and Cosmic/Gamma Rays convert harmless Nitrogen 14 into unstable Carbon 14 (radioactive CO2) in the atmosphere. Carbon 14 never made it into God's Terrarium 6,000 years ago because of the water canopy.  Without Carbon 14, the results of radiocarbon dating produce sample age outcomes of millions of years.  Radiocarbon dating is based on the assumption that the Earth's ecosystem was the same millions of years ago as it is now.  BUT IT WASN'T!  

Cosmic rays are absorbed by 7 Centimeters of water

According to a report on the topic prepared for the DoE back in 1977, a layer of water 7 centimeters thick reduces the ionizing radiation (rays and particles) transmitted through it by half (the remainder is captured or moderated to non-ionizing energy levels, mainly heat).

They could do anything they wanted but for one thing. They disobeyed and as God had promised, they would die. God removed His Spirit from them and did not return into man until God Himself (Jesus, the Son) paid the sin debt of death on the cross 4000 years later.  This indwelling of the Holy Spirit is the Born again experience (John 3).

Adam lived 930 years . He and Eve had many children but Seth is the son they had when Adam was 130. Seth was 105 when he had Enos and so on. This is the beginning of the lineage of Jesus Christ.

Adam and Eve and their children populated the Earth each of them living to be almost 1000 years old.  The world's oldest man Methuselah, was 969 and he died the year the Flood came.  Noah was 600 years old when the Flood came, but lived to be 950.

A catastrophic event caused its collapse and initiated the first rainstorm lasting 40 days and nights.  It also caused the releasing of the subterranean ocean in geysers of water in volumes greater than all the oceans combined. Maybe it was something like the asteroid that was recently discovered buried in Australia that is bigger that the State of New Mexico.

Genesis 6  documents Noah and his family building the Ark on dry land and probably became a laugh-worthy sight to behold.

Genesis 7:11-20

11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.
12 And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.

13 In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark;

14 They, and every beast after his kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl after his kind, every bird of every sort.

15 And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein isthe breath of life.

16 And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in.

17 And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth.

18 And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters.

19 And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered.

20 Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered.

THE FOUNTAINS OF THE GREAT DEEP

"Deep within the Earth's rocky mantle lies oceans' worth of water locked up in a type of mineral called ringwoodite, new research shows.

The results of the study will help scientists understand Earth's water cycle, and how plate tectonics moves water between the surface of the planet and interior reservoirs, researchers say.

The Earth's mantle is the hot, rocky layer between the planet's core and crust. Scientists have long suspected that the mantle's so-called transition zone, which sits between the upper and lower mantle layers 255 to 410 miles (410 to 660 kilometers) below Earth's surface, could contain water trapped in rare minerals. However, direct evidence for this water has been lacking, until now. 

To see if the transition zone really is a deep reservoir for water, researchers conducted experiments on water-rich ringwoodite, analyzed seismic waves traveling through the mantle beneath the United States, and studied numerical models. They discovered that downward-flowing mantle material is melting as it crosses the boundary between the transition zone and the lower mantle layer.  

"If we are seeing this melting, then there has to be this water in the transition zone," said Brandon Schmandt, a seismologist at the University of New Mexico and co-author of the new study published today (June 12) in the journal Science. "The transition zone can hold a lot of water, and could potentially have the same amount of H2O [water] as all the world's oceans."  

Fossil beds found at mountain tops world-wide

How did marine fossils get thousands of feet above sea level?

Marine fossils are also found high in the Himalayas, the world’s tallest mountain range, reaching up to 29,029 feet (8,848 m) above sea level.3 For example, fossil ammonites (coiled marine cephalopods) are found in limestone beds in the Himalayas of Nepal. All geologists agree that ocean waters must have buried these marine fossils in these limestone beds. So how did these marine limestone beds get high up in the Himalayas? 

We must remember that the rock layers in the Himalayas and other mountain ranges around the globe were deposited during the Flood, well before these mountains were formed. In fact, many of these mountain ranges were pushed up by earth movements to their present high elevations at the end of the Flood. This is recorded in Psalm 104:8, where the Flood waters are described as eroding and retreating down valleys as the mountains rose at the end of the Flood.

Visiting Grand Canyon National Park, we are told .. 

"The Colorado River has been carving away rock for the past five to six million years. Remember, the oldest rocks in Grand Canyon are 1.8 billion years old. The canyon is much younger than the rocks through which it winds."

HOWEVER, the Colorado River had to flow uphill over 3,400 feet to carve the GRAND CANYON.  Maybe if we add more magic wand of time it would be believable.

Where the river enters the canyon at Lee's Ferry (Marble Canyon), the elevation there is 3,570 feet. The south rim elevation of Grand Canyon National Park is 7,000 feet (the north rim is 8,000 feet).  Their argument is an "uphill" climb

I, Dan Little (and sons), found many trilobites, brachiopods, Crinoids and cephalopods under the topsoil in Hamburg, NY.  These "ancient" creatures, according to Darwinian, evolutionary science, are among the oldest creatures in the evolutionary hypothesis estimated to exist 500 million years ago. They are to be found at the bottom of the Geologic Column (The deeper you dig, the older the fossils). The famous Geologic column is found nowhere on Earth except for in textbooks, and sadly, all the school textbooks. I saw it and studied it in our public school in the 1950's!

Genesis 9:1-3
